Laying in a hospital bed for days, weeks or even months is terrible for an adult, let alone if you are a kid and all you want to do is play outside. But to make their stay at the Children’s Hospital in South Bend (Indiana) a little bit easier, construction worker Jason Haney – who works on a construction site next to the hospital – came up with a brilliant idea.
Together with his daughter, he made a 8-foot-tall cut-out of ‘Where’s Waldo’ for the children to spot from their hospital beds. Haney moves the cut-out to a different location everyday, so the children can look for Wally again and again. The kids love it and he even created a Facebook group where they can post their findings! What’s more, due to the overwhelming reactions of the children, Haney and his daughter are already working on cut-out ‘Minions’ for their next project!
