On Tuesday Morning, Carrie Fisher went to a galaxy far far away, far far too soon. The 60-year-old actress died after suffering a heart attack during her flight to Los Angeles following a trip to London last week.
Though Fisher was best known for her role as Princess Leia in “Star Wars,” the actress was also an accomplished author, producer, and humorist. She was also one of the first women on the screen that taught young girls how to be strong and smartass, and inspired them to create their own narrative. Fisher was also an advocate for mental health and was admired for her honesty and openness about her own struggles dealing with depression and addictions.
To pay our respects to this wonderful woman, we decided to share the best of touching tributes to late Carrie Fisher collected by Bored Panda.
