Egypt-based architect and graphic designer Mahmoud Tammam decided to take upon a personal challenge and illustrate Arabic words based on their literal meaning, and the results are amazing!

By blending verbal and visual representations, Tammam not only creates elegant pictorial manipulations that are fascinating by themselves, he also allows the words to be understood by people who are not familiar with the Arabic language.
