Artist Just Turned A Cement Mixer Into A Giant Disco Ball

530

I wonder what series of checks and balances your brain has to go through before you think, “You know what? That cement truck would make one heck of a disco ball!”. But that is exactly what happened to French artist Benedetto Bufalino, who not only think of it, he actually went ahead and build one. And as you can see below, it’s freakin’ fabulous!

This installation entitled Disco Ball Cement Mixer appeared a few days ago in the streets of Lyon, projecting sparks of light on all the buildings around it, just like everybody’s favorite dance-floor accessory. Passersby were staring at the glorious creation in awe, while others seized the rare opportunity to dance in the beams of an over-sized disco ball.

Watch it in action!

We just love it! If you’re a fan of Bufalino’s work too, check out some of his other brilliant creations below.
