Artists Voice Their Outrage Towards Trump’s Travel Ban

Donald Trump send out shockwaves when he issued the controversial travel ban order, preventing people from several predominantly Muslim countries from entering the United States. Not surprisingly, people around the world have been quick to voice their outrage while simultaneously expressing their solidarity with the millions of refugees and Muslims affected by the ban.

Many people have been resorting to art to express their feelings, but American entrepreneur, musician, educator, producer, and vlogger Hank Green has taken it one step further. On Twitter he wrote, “For every reply to this tweet with a hand-drawn message of support for immigrants, Muslims, and/or refugees, I will donate $5 to the ACLU.” Green just did the final count and 2,213 pieces of art, for a total of $11,065 was donated to the American Civil Liberties Union to help them in their fight to ensure that what Trump does is within the realms of the law.

Below we have rounded up some of our favorite entries and remember, if you want to support the ACLU, you can donate to them right here.
